The case for
imperfect materials

Books and objects styled on a wooden shelf

The most beautiful homes rarely feel too polished. They carry the marks of a life being lived.

In our Mumbai projects, we often reach for materials that change with time: the small shift in a limewashed wall, the patina of brass, the soft edge of a timber floor. These surfaces have a quiet honesty. They become more beautiful because of daily life.

Our role is to create the right balance — a calm architectural base, a handful of tactile moments and enough breathing room for the people and objects that make a home personal.
